This Non-Liability Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to your use of the Safora mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the limitations described below.

1. Not an Emergency Service

Safora is a consumer application designed to send SOS alerts to your selected contacts (“Guardians”). It is not an emergency response service, medical tool, or professional safety monitoring service.

Safora does not contact or dispatch emergency responders on your behalf.

2. No Guarantee of Help, Response, or Notification

We do not guarantee that:

• your Guardians will receive an alert,
• your Guardians will respond to an alert,
• an alert will be delivered instantly or accurately,
• your device will function correctly at the time of an emergency.

The App’s functionality depends on factors outside our control, including your device, battery level, location permissions, operating system restrictions, mobile network performance, background app settings, third-party APIs, and server availability.

3. User Assumes All Risk

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for your safety and wellbeing. The App is intended only as a supplementary alert tool and must not replace calling emergency services directly when in danger.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safora and its owners, developers, employees, and partners are not liable for:

• injury, harm, or death arising from use or inability to use the App,
• delays, failures, or non-delivery of alerts,
• incorrect contact details provided by the user,
• actions or inactions of your Guardians or third parties,
• loss of data or device malfunction,
• any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

If any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is strictly limited to the amount you paid for the App in the previous 12 months. If the App was used free of charge, liability is zero.

5. No Warranties

Safora is provided “as-is” and “as-available”, without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

6. Third-Party Dependencies

The App relies on third-party systems and networks outside our control. Safora is not responsible for failures caused by mobile carriers, notification services, internet providers, mapping APIs, hardware manufacturers, or cloud hosting providers.

7. User Responsibilities

You are fully responsible for:

• keeping your device charged and functioning,
• maintaining mobile data or network access,
• ensuring permissions and notifications are enabled,
• entering correct Guardian contact details,
• using the App lawfully and appropriately.

8. Updates to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of all changes.
